Banking Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Banking Tax Manager to join a supportive and successful team in London. The role focuses on corporate tax advisory for financial services clients, delivering high‑quality tax advice and, where required, managing compliance work.

Key responsibilities

• Provide corporate tax advisory services to banking, insurance and asset‑management clients.
• Deliver Pillar Two advisory and other specialised tax advice.
• Manage and review tax compliance and reporting for client portfolios.
• Interact directly with clients, maintaining relationships and commercial arrangements.
• Support tax audit activities for financial services entities.
• Lead and develop project teams, mentor junior staff and handle performance management.
• Contribute to business development and cross‑practice initiatives.

Required profile

• Current Manager‑level experience in UK corporate tax.
• Strong knowledge of corporate tax compliance and reporting.
• Ability to conduct detailed technical research.
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
• Professional tax qualifications (CTA, ACA/CA or equivalent).
