Bar Staff – Pub at Stansted Airport

About the role

Join a friendly, hard‑working team at the Windmill pub on Stansted Airport. No prior experience is required – we provide full training so you can deliver great food and drink service in a fast‑paced, early‑morning to late‑night environment.

Key responsibilities

• Take orders and serve drinks to the correct specification, both at the bar and via the customer app.
• Deliver food to customers, complete check‑backs and clear plates promptly.
• Provide friendly customer interactions, build rapport and promote current offers.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, including clearing tables, wiping surfaces, toilet checks and ‘clean as you go’ duties.
• Assist with glass‑washing, restocking fridges, floor and beer‑garden clearing, and other duties as needed.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, reliable and team‑oriented with a positive attitude.
• Calm under pressure and able to work flexible shifts from 03:00 to midnight.
• Willingness to learn and follow training on food, drink and safety standards.

Required skills

What we offer

• Competitive hourly rate of £15.42.
• Free meal and drink while on shift, plus 20% discount on food, drinks and hotel accommodation for you and up to three guests.
• £1 extra per hour for work between midnight and 05:59.
