Bar & Waiting Staff – Pub Team Member

About the role

As a member of the Bar & Waiting Staff team at Greene King in Frome, you will help create memorable moments for guests, whether you’re pouring a pint, recommending a drink, or serving a meal. You’ll work in a lively, inclusive pub environment where teamwork and great service are at the heart of the experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a warm, friendly welcome and ensure each guest enjoys a memorable visit.
• Take drink orders, recommend beverages, and prepare and present drinks to specification.
• Serve food, clear tables, and maintain a clean, safe bar and dining area.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the point‑of‑sale system.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar colleagues to keep service flowing smoothly.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for hospitality and customer service.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
