Beauty Packaging Assistant

About the role

The Beauty Packaging Assistant will support the development of new beauty product packaging, working closely with internal teams and global manufacturing partners. The role requires strong organisational abilities, confident communication and the capacity to manage tasks both independently and collaboratively.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in new packaging development, including sourcing, innovation, cost‑saving initiatives, print proof approvals and colour standards.
• Review and support artwork layout approvals, ensuring compliance with cutter guides, print specifications, certification and recycling information.
• Research packaging trends, source new materials, components, finishes and carton solutions, and maintain a library of samples.
• Help deliver sustainability objectives such as material reduction, improved recyclability and increased use of post‑consumer recycled content.
• Prepare technical briefs, product specifications and packaging testing requirements.
• Ensure all packaging meets brand, regulatory and quality standards.
• Maintain packaging specifications, waste data, technical drawings and artwork approvals to support compliance.

Required profile

• Confident communicator with excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Passionate about beauty, packaging, sustainability and emerging technologies.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and high attention to detail.
• Self‑motivated, able to manage priorities and work to critical path deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
