Before & After School Club Key Worker (Primary)

About the role

Join a vibrant village primary school as a Wrap Around Care Assistant, supporting children before and after the school day. You will create a safe, welcoming environment for pupils during breakfast and after‑school sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise children in the breakfast club (7:30 am – 8:45 am) and after‑school club (3:15 pm – 5:45 pm).
• Assist in preparing and serving breakfast and afternoon snacks.
• Plan and lead fun, educational activities for the children.
• Maintain a clean, organised space and ensure all safety procedures are followed.
• Communicate daily with parents and school staff about children’s wellbeing and activities.

Required profile

• Previous experience working with children in a supervisory or assistant capacity.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to foster a warm, safe atmosphere for young learners.
• Enhanced DBS check (mandatory).
• First‑aid certification (preferred).
