Before & After School Club Team Leader

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual to lead the breakfast and after‑school clubs at a primary school in Sale. This dual‑role combines wrap‑around care leadership with key administrative support for the school office, ensuring a safe, stimulating environment for children aged 3‑11.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the breakfast club (7:30 am‑9:00 am) and after‑school club (3:00 pm‑6:00 pm) across the week.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities that support child development and learning.
• Lead, coach and schedule the care team, ensuring high standards of safeguarding and compliance.
• Communicate effectively with parents, carers and school staff.
• Provide administrative assistance in the school office, handling enquiries, record‑keeping and supporting the senior leadership team.

Required profile

• A Level 3 qualification or equivalent suitable for the role.
• Proven experience working with primary‑age children.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with children, parents and colleagues.
• Proactive, adaptable and able to work collaboratively within a team.
• Good understanding of safeguarding practices and child development.
