Behaviour Manager – Primary School (Redbridge)

About the role

The school is seeking a Behaviour Manager to lead behaviour and pastoral support for pupils whose actions hinder learning. This full‑time, temporary position starts immediately and focuses on creating a positive, inclusive environment for all children.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement individual behaviour support plans.
• Deliver targeted pastoral interventions and small‑group sessions.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, SENCO, teachers, parents and external agencies.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality and progress of pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD and related needs.
• Facilitate parent meetings and support families in improving outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing behaviour and providing pastoral support in a mainstream primary setting.
• Experience working with pupils who have social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs is desirable.
• Resilient, proactive and able to build strong relationships with staff, families and external professionals.
