About the role
This full‑time position supports students aged 11‑16 in an Alternative Provision setting in Westminster. You will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to help young people with SEMH needs overcome barriers to learning.
Key responsibilities
- Support students with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) and behavioural needs.
- Manage behaviour using restorative approaches.
- Deliver one‑to‑one and group mentoring sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers and pastoral staff to create a positive learning environment.
Required profile
- Experience in youth work, mentoring or behaviour support.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Strong communication skills.
- Passion for making a genuine difference to young people.
