About the role
We are recruiting a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a highly successful school in East London. This full‑time position is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting students' personal development, wellbeing and engagement with education.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and small group support for students requiring additional behavioural guidance
- Build positive relationships with students to improve engagement and attendance
- Support the implementation of behaviour management strategies
- Work closely with teachers, pastoral teams and parents to support student progress
- Promote positive attitudes towards learning and personal development
- Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive school environment
Required profile
- Previous experience working with young people in an educational, youth work or mentoring setting
- Strong behaviour management and relationship‑building skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Calm, resilient and proactive approach
- Genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed
- Experience supporting students with SEND or SEMH needs is advantageous
