Behaviour Mentor – Full‑Time Support Role in Lambeth

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive school in Lambeth on a full‑time basis. You will work five days a week providing one‑to‑one and small‑group support to pupils with behavioural and emotional needs, helping them achieve positive outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to pupils with behavioural and emotional needs.
- Build positive, trusting relationships and act as a consistent role model.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies and personalised support plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, SEN staff and the pastoral team to monitor pupil progress.
- Help pupils develop emotional regulation, resilience, confidence and social skills.
- Monitor behaviour and contribute to strategies that promote positive change.
- Encourage pupils to engage positively with learning and the wider school community.
Required profile
- Previous experience supporting children and young people with behavioural needs.
- Strong understanding of behaviour management and positive outcome strategies.
- Degree preferred but not essential.
- Passion for making a real difference to pupils’ lives.
