About the role
We are looking for a positive role model to support young people in a specialist setting for learners with SEND and SEMH needs in North Tyneside. The full‑time Behaviour Mentor will help improve behaviour, emotional regulation and engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and support behaviour intervention strategies.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with learners.
- Promote emotional regulation and wellbeing.
- Encourage active learner engagement.
Required profile
- Calm and resilient approach.
- Confident communicator with a passion for supporting young people.
- Background in youth work, support work, coaching or care.
- Relevant qualifications, training and an enhanced DBS check.
