Behaviour Mentor – Part‑time (Bolton)

About the role
We are seeking a part‑time Behaviour Mentor to support pupils across Bolton from September. The role involves working with children who need additional behavioural, emotional and learning support to help them engage positively with their education.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and group support to children with behavioural and emotional needs.
- Assist pupils in developing positive relationships with teachers and peers.
- Help students engage with learning activities and achieve their full potential.
- Work flexibly for approximately 20 hours per week, Monday‑Friday mornings or afternoons.
Required profile
- Minimum six months experience working with children in the UK.
- Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is essential.
- Previous roles such as Behaviour Mentor, Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Youth Worker or similar are desirable.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Patient, resilient and proactive approach to supporting children.
- Right to work in the UK and willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
