Behaviour Mentor – Secondary Schools (Cover Supervisor)

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Behaviour Mentors to support secondary schools across Kent and Medway on a flexible, temporary basis. You will step into classrooms as a Cover Supervisor, delivering pre‑prepared lessons and helping maintain a positive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑planned lessons in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe, supportive atmosphere.
• Adapt quickly to different school settings and student groups.
• Provide feedback to school staff on pupil progress and any concerns.

Required profile

• Some experience working with young people in education or youth‑focused settings.
• Strong behaviour management abilities.
• Confidence delivering pre‑prepared lessons.
• A positive, reliable, and proactive attitude.

Required skills

• Effective classroom management.
• Ability to follow and deliver lesson plans.
