Behaviour Mentor – September Start in North London

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive North London school from September. The role involves providing one‑to‑one and small‑group support to pupils with behavioural and emotional needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small‑group interventions for pupils with SEMH, ADHD, Autism or challenging behaviour.
- Build positive relationships and act as a role model for students.
- Implement behaviour strategies to improve engagement and learning outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral staff.
- Promote resilience, emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
Required profile
- Previous experience working with children or young people (e.g., Behaviour Mentor, Teaching Assistant, Youth Worker, Support Worker, Sports Coach, Mentor).
- Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD or challenging behaviour is preferred.
- Strong behaviour management and communication abilities.
- Calm, patient, resilient approach.
- Genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
Required skills
- No specific technical skills required.
