Behaviour Mentor – Support SEN KS2 Students

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to work with Key‑Stage 2 pupils at a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Chester. You will help students with ASD, autism, ADHD and challenging behaviour to engage fully in learning and enjoy a supportive school environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to students displaying challenging behaviour.
- Implement and monitor personalised behaviour strategies in collaboration with teachers and SEN staff.
- Create a structured, positive classroom atmosphere that encourages learning.
- Maintain accurate records of interventions and progress.
Required profile
- Experience working with children who have ASD, autism, ADHD or similar behavioural challenges.
- Calm, patient and resilient approach.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
