Behaviour Mentor – Tower Hamlets

About the role

Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to support a student with complex emotional and academic needs in a mainstream secondary school in Tower Hamlets. The role is full‑time for the academic year and offers the chance to make a tangible difference in a young person's educational journey.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one support for a student with complex emotional and academic needs.
• Manage and de‑escalate challenging behaviour throughout the school day.
• Supervise the student across all school settings, ensuring safety and positive engagement.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Required profile

• Previous experience in SEN or behaviour support roles.
• Proven ability to work with challenging behaviour.
• Team Teach training (desirable) and safeguarding training (desirable, can be provided).
• Right to work in the UK and willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
• Two professional references.
