BI Analyst (Training Specialist / Looker Gemini)

About the role

Pontoon is seeking a BI Analyst who will act as a Training Specialist for Google Looker Gemini. The role is hybrid, with two days a week on‑site in Bristol, and runs until the end of the year on a £600 per day contract.

Key responsibilities

• Design and scale an enterprise capability model for Looker and Looker Gemini (GenBI).
• Integrate Looker learning pathways into the AI Academy for multiple personas (Builder, User, Enabler, Leader).
• Stand up a self‑serve learning portal, virtual classroom, hands‑on labs and sandbox environments.
• Create and launch a formal accreditation framework, defining learning pathways, competency thresholds and certification routes.
• Support business domains to build internal GenBI capability, embed trained builders, and reduce reliance on the Centre of Excellence.

Required profile

• Strong experience in enterprise learning or capability‑building programmes within digital or data transformation projects.
• Proven ability to design role‑based learning pathways and accreditation models.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement across HR, L&D, technology teams and business units.
