Bid Manager – 12‑month Fixed‑Term (Remote)

About the role

This is a 12‑month fixed‑term opportunity with a leading international law firm, working fully remotely within a high‑performing global Business Development team. You will own the end‑to‑end bid process for strategic opportunities across multiple practice areas and jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of strategic bids, tenders and panel submissions from qualification through to presentation.
• Manage complex, multi‑jurisdictional bid opportunities and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
• Develop compelling win strategies, value propositions and tailored bid content.
• Collaborate with pricing teams to produce competitive and commercially sound pricing models.
• Coach partners and bid teams on presentations and pitch delivery.
• Gather and analyse client feedback to enhance future bid success.
• Drive continuous improvements to bid processes, templates and management systems.
• Share best practice with global teams to strengthen bid capability across the business.

Required profile

• Significant experience managing complex bids within a legal or professional services environment.
• Proven track record delivering multi‑service line and multi‑jurisdictional tender responses.
• Excellent project management, stakeholder management and coaching skills.
• Outstanding writing, editing and communication abilities.
• Experience with procurement‑led tender processes is highly desirable.
• Commercial mindset with experience developing pricing strategies and value propositions.
• CIM qualification or equivalent is advantageous.
