Bid Manager

About the role

The construction firm is seeking a proactive Bid Manager to own the end‑to‑end tender process, turning opportunities into winning contracts across London and beyond. You will combine creative document design with rigorous project coordination to deliver compelling, compliant submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and assess tender opportunities, reviewing client requirements and submission criteria.
• Plan and manage bid programmes, tracking deadlines and coordinating multiple live opportunities.
• Produce high‑quality, visually appealing tender packs using Adobe InDesign.
• Liaise with estimators, operational teams and senior stakeholders to gather technical content.
• Prepare pre‑qualification questionnaires, expressions of interest, full tender responses and presentation materials.
• Research market trends to enhance future proposals and contribute strategic ideas.

Required profile

• Proven experience in bid, proposal, marketing, communications or graphics roles, preferably within construction, property, engineering or infrastructure.
• Strong eye for layout, branding and presentation, with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Excellent written communication to articulate the company’s expertise and value proposition.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Adobe InDesign.

What we offer

• Competitive salary £50,000‑£60,000 per annum.
• Full‑time, Monday‑Friday schedule (8:00‑17:30).
