Bid Manager – Lead Tender Process for Forensic Services

About the role

As a Bid Manager within Analytical Expert Labs, you will own the full bid lifecycle across the Group’s forensic and analytical businesses, ensuring high‑quality, compliant and competitive tender submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and monitor tender opportunities via mailboxes and procurement portals.
• Review tender documents, support bid/no‑bid decisions and manage clarification queries.
• Plan, coordinate and lead bid activity, setting clear timelines and responsibilities.
• Develop and write tailored, high‑quality responses aligned to client requirements.
• Maintain a credible bid library with accurate, up‑to‑date content.
• Coordinate commercial input to ensure alignment of solution, pricing and overall response.
• Ensure all submissions are compliant, accurate and of a high standard.
• Manage submissions through procurement portals and keep detailed records.
• Log tender activity, report on pipeline status and bid performance.
• Capture feedback and drive continuous improvement of bid content and processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing bids end‑to‑end.
• Strong bid writing and editing abilities.
• Experience with public sector procurement processes and portals.
• Ability to coordinate input from multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working independently in a standalone role.
