Bid Writer – Construction & Public Sector

About the role

We are looking for an organised and motivated Bid Writer to join a growing business that operates across construction and public‑sector markets. You will work within a supportive, close‑knit team to produce high‑quality bid and tender submissions that help secure new contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Write and complete bid and tender applications.
• Prepare and submit pre‑qualification questionnaires (PQQs).
• Collaborate closely with the bid team and support the Bid Manager on ongoing tender activities.
• Manage multiple deadlines while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Administer bids through procurement portals and maintain bid documentation.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Bid Writer, Bid Coordinator or a similar tender‑focused role.
• Strong written communication and organisational abilities.
• Experience compiling and managing bid submissions.
• Attention to detail and good IT proficiency.
• Familiarity with construction, social housing or public‑sector environments (technical expertise not mandatory).
