Bike Courier (Food Delivery)

About the role

Deliveroo is looking for motivated Bike Couriers in Derby to deliver food orders to customers. You’ll work on your own schedule, using the Deliveroo app to accept and complete deliveries across the city.

Key responsibilities

• Pick up food orders from partner restaurants and deliver them to customers promptly.
• Navigate efficiently using the Deliveroo app and a smartphone.
• Maintain safety standards, wearing required equipment such as a helmet.
• Communicate with support via the app when assistance is needed.
• Stay online for as long as you wish, managing your own working hours.

Required profile

• Own a bike (or scooter/car) and have a valid UK right‑to‑work.
• Be at least 18 years old and able to work as a self‑employed contractor.
• Possess a smartphone running iOS 12 or Android 6 (or newer).
• Have basic safety equipment (e.g., helmet).

Required skills

• iOS 12 (or later) operating system.
• Android 6 (or later) operating system.
