Bilingual Service Desk Engineer – Spanish & English

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual Service Desk Engineer who can provide first‑line IT support to users in the UK and Spain. The role is based in Runcorn, requiring three days per week on site, and includes training, on‑call duties and overtime opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 1st line technical support for UK and Spanish employees.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues across multiple technologies.
• Escalate complex incidents to senior team members or specialist groups.
• Maintain service quality by adhering to agreed SLAs and KPIs.
• Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule (one week in four).

Required profile

• Professional proficiency in both English and Spanish.
• Previous experience in a technical support or service desk environment.
• Strong customer service orientation with clear communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks methodically and work independently.

Required skills

• MCSA (or equivalent Microsoft certification).
• CompTIA certification.
• CCNA certification.
• ITIL certification.
