Billing Clerk – Invoicing & Accounts Support

About the role

The Billing Clerk will support the finance team by preparing, issuing and maintaining accurate invoices for customers. Working on a 3‑to‑6‑month contract, you will ensure timely processing of billing data and help resolve any discrepancies.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and issue invoices based on contracts, orders or service agreements.
• Verify billing data for accuracy, including pricing, quantities and taxes.
• Maintain up‑to‑date customer billing records and account information.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or customer queries.
• Process adjustments, credits and refunds as required.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service and other internal teams to ensure billing accuracy.
• Monitor accounts for delayed payments and assist with collections follow‑up.
• Prepare billing reports and summaries for management review.
• Ensure compliance with financial procedures and company policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in billing, accounting or a related administrative role.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with high attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
• Effective communication and problem‑solving capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
