Billing Specialist – London (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to join our growing international professional services firm in London. The role is hybrid and offers the chance to own end‑to‑end billing for senior professionals across EMEA and APAC, with full training from our US‑based billing team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end client billing for a portfolio of senior fee earners across multiple international markets.
• Review client engagement terms and set up new matters or projects correctly.
• Prepare, edit and process client invoices, including multi‑currency and complex billing arrangements.
• Monitor work‑in‑progress (WIP) and provide senior stakeholders with clear billing status updates.
• Track billing progress through to completion and resolve queries, amendments and client‑specific requirements.
• Support continuous improvement of billing processes as the international function expands.

Required profile

• Proven full‑cycle billing experience within professional services, legal, consulting, advisory or financial services environments.
• Ability to operate independently, manage ambiguity and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all billing activities.
