BIM Manager – Defence & Government Projects

About the role

Arcadis is seeking a BIM Manager to join its rapidly growing Places business area. Reporting to the BIM Team Leader and secondarily to the Technical Director, you will apply advanced BIM expertise across Defence, Local Government and multi‑disciplinary projects, collaborating with a UK‑wide engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain effective relationships with Project Managers and clients to communicate progress, changes and resolve issues.
• Manage the BIM process and associated tools on large‑scale, multi‑stakeholder projects.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of Arcadis BIM policies and strategies.
• Implement and ensure compliance with company and national BIM standards across project teams.
• Support the BIM Lead in refining information‑management, quality‑assurance and process‑optimization strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience working in a BIM environment on complex, multi‑disciplinary projects.
• Ability to think strategically and deliver technical solutions for Defence and Government sectors.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with engineers across the UK and internationally.
• Commitment to personal development and willingness to be mentored by senior technical leaders.
