BIM Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced BIM Manager to support the BIM Lead in delivering consistent digital construction across the Southwest and Wales region. The role will embed information management, BIM best practice and drive capability building throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the regional BIM strategy and transformation plan in line with agreed standards and ways of working.
• Define BIM scope, deliverables and approach for each project, ensuring client requirements are met.
• Assess, trial and support adoption of digital tools that add measurable value.
• Provide BIM input to bids, shaping early scope and clarifying BIM requirements, standards and risks.
• Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans, configure the Common Data Environment and enable cross‑discipline coordination.
• Support model QA, information exchange and approval processes to meet client and project specifications.
• Manage and coordinate BIM Coordinators, identify skills gaps and drive training and upskilling initiatives.
• Align regional hardware and software needs with the BIM strategy and project technology requirements.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as an Information/BIM Manager in a multi‑disciplinary environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK BIM requirements and ISO 19650 information management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
