BIM Technician – 3D Modelling for Specialist Facilities

About the role

We are looking for a BIM Technician to join our team in Sheffield and support specialist laboratory and technical facility projects across research, healthcare, education and industrial sectors. You will create and maintain accurate 3D BIM models and Revit drawings, ensuring that design information stays coordinated throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and maintain detailed 3D BIM models using Revit.
• Generate and update construction drawings and documentation.
• Coordinate design information across multidisciplinary teams.
• Support the delivery of complex laboratory and technical facility projects from concept to completion.
• Utilise construction collaboration platforms such as Asite, Aconex or 4Projects where required.

Required profile

• Strong experience creating and managing 3D BIM models and Revit drawings.
• Proven ability to work within design teams on technical or complex building projects.
• Experience with construction information platforms (Asite, Aconex, 4Projects) is advantageous.
• Good communication skills and a proactive, team‑focused attitude.
