Binder Technician – Insurance Broker

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Binder Technician to join our London‑based insurance brokerage. Working within a collaborative technical team, you will support a varied portfolio of delegated authority business throughout the entire policy lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, issue and maintain binders, endorsements and related market documentation.
• Manage delegated authority agreements and ensure accurate processing from inception to renewal.
• Process premiums, bordereaux and monitor settlement activities.
• Liaise with brokers, underwriters, coverholders and internal stakeholders to resolve technical queries.
• Support renewals, contract changes and binder reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Lloyd’s and London Market standards and procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Binder Technician, delegated authority, technical processing or operations role.
• Strong understanding of binders, delegated authority processes and London Market documentation.
• Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Knowledge of London Market systems is advantageous.
