Binder Technician

About the role

You will join a leading independent broker operating across Lloyd's of London, Bermuda, European and International specialty markets. The role focuses on delivering efficient technical processing services, maintaining accurate documentation, and handling enquiries from clients, underwriters and third parties.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a high‑quality technical processing service to the business.
• Maintain up‑to‑date and accurate documentation.
• Handle incoming enquiries from clients, underwriters and third parties, resolving queries promptly.
• File relevant documentation electronically.
• Highlight processing errors to the appropriate colleague.
• Assist with ad‑hoc projects as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Binder Technician in the London insurance market.
• Experience with Binder/DUA and technical processing.
• Strong computer proficiency (Word, Excel, broking systems, PPL).
• Ability to multitask, manage multiple clients and projects, and stay organised.
• Good time‑management skills and willingness to engage in continuous learning and training.
