About the role
The Binding Authority Claims Technician will join an established Lloyd's broker in London, providing technical claims support for multinational, multi‑layered US casualty binders, financial lines and property portfolios.
Key responsibilities
- Process and advise on US casualty binder claims, including Professional Indemnity, General Liability, Errors & Omissions, Employment Practices Liability and Crisis Management.
- Ensure claims are valid, processed and paid within agreed timescales.
- Coordinate communication between clients, TPAs, coverholders and insurers.
- Maintain a portfolio of US casualty binder claims and deliver value‑added service to clients.
Required profile
- Previous experience working on Binding Authority claims (essential).
- Knowledge of casualty, professional indemnity and/or property claims (useful).
- Understanding of the Electronic Claims Facility (ECF) (advantageous).
