About the role
A fantastic secondary school in East London is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Biology Teacher to join its successful science department from September. The role involves teaching Biology across Key Stages 3, 4 and, where possible, 5, while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, high‑quality Biology lessons for KS3, KS4 and optionally KS5.
- Support students to achieve strong academic progress in biology.
- Create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Biology in UK secondary schools.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Passion for science and student development.
