Block Property Manager – Hybrid Working

About the role

We are seeking a Block Property Manager to join our award‑winning team in South Croydon. The role offers true hybrid working and the chance to manage high‑profile residential buildings in the capital. You will be the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their satisfaction and value for money.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of residential blocks in line with regulations and compliance requirements.
• Handle client enquiries by phone and email, taking appropriate actions.
• Attend client meetings and conduct regular site visits.
• Oversee site staff operations and contractor performance, addressing maintenance issues.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
• Coordinate building compliance, including Section 20 processes with back‑office support.
• Work with internal departments to keep buildings clean, safe and pleasant for residents.

Required profile

• Demonstrable experience in the property sector, preferably residential block management.
• Good understanding of current legislation and residential property management standards.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer‑focused approach.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise workload and perform under pressure.
• Good literacy and numerical skills, with diplomacy and attention to detail.
• Team player eager to build a career in block and estate management.
