BMS Engineer – Maintenance of Building Management Systems

About the role

We are seeking a skilled BMS Engineer to join our facilities team, focusing on the maintenance of building services and Building Management Systems. You will be responsible for delivering planned preventive maintenance, reactive repairs, and fault finding while ensuring safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical and control systems across the site.
• Commission, operate and fault‑find Trend or Tridium BMS platforms (essential).
• Support BMS integration with site IT/network, handling basic TCP/IP connectivity issues.
• Carry out inspections, testing and scheduled maintenance activities.
• Produce clear job reports, maintenance logs and technical documentation.
• Ensure health & safety compliance, including RA/PTW where required.
• Coordinate contractors and suppliers, communicating progress to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven maintenance engineering experience with strong troubleshooting abilities.
• Effective communication skills and a flexible approach to working hours.
• Certification in Trend/Tridium BMS (essential).
• Preferred: relevant technical qualification, CSCS card (or equivalent) and a valid driving licence.
