BMS Service Engineer – Cambridge

About the role

We are seeking a BMS Service Engineer to join our team in the Cambridge area. You will work on a variety of public and government sites, providing installation, commissioning and maintenance of building management systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and commission BMS components such as sensors, controllers, actuators and software.
• Perform routine maintenance and checks on Trend, Tridium and Distech BMS platforms across schools, hospitals, government estates and MOD sites.
• Respond to reactive call‑outs, with additional financial benefits for on‑call work.
• Provide technical support and advice to clients on their BMS installations.
• Identify improvement opportunities and prepare proposals or quotations for remedial work.

Required profile

• Experience working with building management or automation systems in a service/maintenance capacity.
• Ability to travel to multiple customer sites and work independently.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends as required.
