Bodyshop Advisor – Customer Experience Specialist

About the role

Join Hedin Automotive’s Bodyshop team as a Bodyshop Advisor, delivering a seamless customer experience throughout the vehicle repair journey. Working closely with the Bodyshop Manager, you will coordinate bookings, manage communications with customers and insurers, and ensure each repair is completed efficiently from estimate to hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide exceptional service throughout the repair process.
• Manage repair bookings, produce estimates and handle insurance communications.
• Ensure SMART repair jobs are invoiced correctly and update workload control spreadsheets.
• Liaise with technicians, workshop staff, parts suppliers and insurers to keep repairs on schedule.
• Update customers regularly on repair progress, delays, additional work and approvals.
• Oversee vehicle return, explaining completed work and any charges.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar automotive or bodyshop role is preferred.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Valid UK manual driving licence.
