Bookkeeper – Finance & Accounting Role

About the role

The Bookkeeper will manage financial records, process transactions and support reporting for a professional services organisation. This permanent, onsite position offers a collaborative environment where accuracy and confidentiality are paramount.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain ledgers, journals and perform reconciliations.
• Process invoices, payments and bank transactions promptly.
• Prepare VAT returns and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist with payroll processing and related reporting.
• Generate financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide ad‑hoc support to the Accounting & Finance team.
• Respond to client queries and supply financial information.
• Uphold confidentiality and data accuracy at all times.

Required profile

• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial processes.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical work approach.
• Excellent communication for client and team interactions.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Professional bookkeeping or accounting qualification desirable but not essential.
