Branch Manager - Lichfield

About the role

Travis Perkins, the UK's largest builders' merchant with over 500 branches, is recruiting a Branch Manager for its Lichfield branch. You will lead a team of 8 people and 1 HGV wagon, build strong relationships with customers and suppliers, and keep the branch profitable and running smoothly. The role is permanent and full time, with 44.5 hours per week and alternate Saturday mornings.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing team: inspire, coach and develop staff to hit targets and deliver excellent service
• Build lasting relationships with customers and suppliers
• Drive sales and operational excellence: lead sales strategies, manage stock, deliveries and day-to-day operations
• Maintain health and safety standards and ensure compliance with legal requirements
• Recruit, train and mentor the team, supporting career progression
