Branch Manager - Personal Lines & Commercial Lines Insurance

About the role

Howden, a global insurance group with 24,000 employees across 56 countries, is hiring a Branch Manager in Northwich. The post-holder is accountable for their own profit and loss, with the freedom to seek new business and the support to grow the branch. The role also covers service to existing clients through coaching and team development, with the aim of retaining policies and driving loyalty.

Key responsibilities

• Own the branch's profit and loss and bring in and retain business
• Deliver first-class service to existing clients through coaching and team development
• Aim to retain policies and drive client loyalty
• Make decisions quickly and act in the best interests of clients, teams and the business

Required profile

• Excellent experience and understanding of Personal Lines and/or Commercial Lines insurance products and services
• Great communicator who shares knowledge, experience and best practice
• Collaborative, people-first leadership style
• Commercially minded, able to analyse data and make evidence-based decisions with attention to detail
• Enthusiastic and resilient, ready to look after existing clients and find new business
