Branch Manager – Retail & Customer Service

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead our Watford branch. The role involves overseeing daily operations, managing a small team, and ensuring customers receive top‑class service in a home‑improvement retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and motivate a team of four staff members.
• Handle customer enquiries and sales via face‑to‑face, phone and email.
• Schedule work for engineers and coordinate deliveries.
• Process orders, assist with stock control and manage loading/unloading of vehicles.
• Liaise with suppliers and resolve issues promptly.
• Check deliveries against paperwork to ensure accuracy.

Required profile

• Clean driving licence.
• Previous supervisory or managerial experience.
• Strong background in customer service, sales or administration.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to manage time, prioritise workload and work well under pressure.
• Positive team player attitude.

Required skills

• IT literacy with good attention to detail.
