About the role
We are seeking a proactive Branch / Store Manager to lead a small retail team in Watford. You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operations of the branch, ensuring smooth service delivery and achieving sales targets for garage doors and related products.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a team of four staff members, providing coaching and performance feedback.
- Handle customer enquiries via phone, email and face‑to‑face interactions.
- Process sales of garage doors and related items, meeting agreed targets.
- Check condition and quantities of delivered goods against delivery notes.
- Perform occasional heavy‑lifting tasks as required.
Required profile
- Strong sales and leadership abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective time‑management and workload prioritisation.
- Attention to detail and ability to work well within a team.
