Brand Manager – Financial Services

About the role

Join the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) as a Brand Manager and help shape the financial future of people across the UK. You will be responsible for safeguarding and evolving the MaPS and MoneyHelper brands while working in a supportive, energetic team.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary guardian of the MaPS (corporate) and MoneyHelper (consumer) brands, ensuring consistent application of brand guidelines.
• Lead the rollout of a new visual identity for the Money Guiders programme and the broader MoneyHelper brand strategy.
• Collaborate with internal design teams and external agencies to develop and maintain brand guidelines across print, digital, social, video and emerging media.
• Manage internal brand approval processes and ensure all communications meet agreed standards.
• Support the implementation and adoption of a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system across the organisation and agency partners.
• Oversee intellectual property and trademark activities, including applications, monitoring and infringement identification.
• Contribute to naming development for new products, services and campaigns.
• Help develop and refine key messaging frameworks and ensure their consistent use.

Required profile

• Proven experience in brand management and governance, preferably within a public or financial‑services environment.
• Strong understanding of brand architecture, visual identity systems and brand‑guideline development.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal design teams and external creative agencies.
• Familiarity with digital asset management processes and tools.
• Experience handling trademark and intellectual‑property matters.
