BREEAM Assessor – Sustainable Building Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a BREEAM Assessor to join our growing sustainability team within a multidisciplinary building consultancy. The successful candidate will work on a variety of high‑profile projects across sectors such as commercial, education, healthcare and infrastructure, delivering BREEAM certification and supporting broader sustainability strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver BREEAM assessments from design stage through to certification.
• Prepare high‑quality technical reports, Energy Statements, Sustainability Statements and Whole Life Carbon Reports.
• Advise clients and project teams on sustainable design, net‑zero strategies and carbon reduction.
• Contribute to additional sustainability services including WELL, Fitwel and DREAM assessments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in knowledge‑sharing meetings.

Required profile

• Experience or strong interest in building sustainability and BREEAM certification.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation and communicate sustainability concepts to clients.
• Willingness to develop expertise in emerging tools such as dynamic thermal modelling and embodied carbon analysis.
