Brewer

About the role

We are looking for an entry‑level Brewer to join our Enfield brewery. You will work on a shift‑based schedule, reporting to the Production First Line Manager, and be responsible for the full brewing process from raw material intake to bright beer ready for packaging.

Key responsibilities

• Operate all brewery processes including brewhouse, cellar management and bright‑beer filtration.
• Perform basic lab tasks such as yeast counts and diacetyl testing.
• Manage inventory of raw materials, chemicals and finished goods, including receipt and waste streams.
• Maintain safety standards, report near‑misses and support safety initiatives.
• Document all movements in SAP, digital logs and WMS to ensure traceability.

Required profile

• Passion for producing high‑quality beer and understanding of quality in process production.
• Technical and fault‑finding abilities to operate in a fast‑moving environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Computer literacy with ability to follow screen instructions.
• Team‑player who thrives in an open, collaborative setting and pays attention to detail.

Required skills

• SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) for traceability.
• Use of Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) for safe loading and unloading.
• Basic laboratory operations: yeast counting and diacetyl testing.
• Fault finding on brewing plant equipment.
