Bridge Engineer – Up to £45/hr – 6‑Month Rolling Contract

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Bridge Engineer to support the delivery of a major portfolio of bridge and highway structures across Scotland. You will join a well‑established team working on a variety of schemes delivered through long‑term Scottish highways frameworks, providing technical leadership on design, assessment and asset improvement projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery of bridge design, assessment and asset improvement works.
• Support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of bridge and highway projects.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers within the team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with standards and project requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in bridge engineering.
• Background in highway structures projects.
• Proven ability to lead technical delivery and mentor junior staff.
