Broker Development Manager – Cyber Focus

About the role

This position is with a leading UK Managing General Agent (MGA) specialising in cyber and professional indemnity insurance. The Broker Development Manager will be responsible for expanding the MGA's broker network across the Midlands, Manchester, Leeds and the North East, driving growth of the cyber proposition.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with existing and new insurance brokers in the assigned region.
• Promote the cyber insurance offering, increasing adoption within current broker accounts.
• Deliver broker education and training sessions on the cyber proposition.
• Represent the MGA at broker meetings, industry events and conferences across the UK and Ireland.
• Collaborate with underwriting, marketing, distribution, claims and incident response teams to align messaging and appetite.
• Identify market feedback and contribute to the UK&I cyber growth strategy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, broker management or relationship‑focused insurance roles.
• Strong commercial acumen and confidence in client‑facing environments.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the region.
• Interest in cyber insurance; prior cyber experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
