Building Services Design Engineer Degree Apprentice

About the role

Join one of the UK’s largest building‑services consultancies as a Degree Apprentice. You will be placed on live, high‑profile projects from day one, working alongside multidisciplinary teams across sectors such as healthcare, hospitality and data‑centres.

Key responsibilities

• Work on live projects and produce detailed designs and drawings.
• Use the latest computer‑modelling software to develop engineering system designs.
• Undertake site surveys and research emerging technologies.
• Attend regular meetings with project teams, clients and end‑users.
• Write technical specifications and monitor progress on construction sites.

Required profile

• Three A‑levels (including Maths and a science) or equivalent qualifications such as T‑Level, BTEC Level 3 or a Building Services Design Technician apprenticeship.
• Genuine interest in a career in building‑services engineering.
• Strong communication, analytical and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Friendly, ambitious and resilient attitude.
