Building Services Engineer – Multiple Sites

About the role

We are seeking a Building Services Engineer to support our portfolio of sites across Northamptonshire, Cambridge, King's Lynn, Milton Keynes, Peterborough and Luton. The role is full‑time, Monday to Friday, and offers the chance to develop technical expertise while working in a supportive environment that values wellbeing and career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults and perform repairs.
• Liaise with the Contracts Manager to ensure all contractual obligations are met.
• Develop strong client relationships through clear communication.
• Monitor help‑desk jobs and complete quality‑assurance inspections.
• Attend meetings with senior management and clients, and produce required reports.

Required profile

• Practical experience in building services or facilities management.
• Recognised apprenticeship, NVQ or equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of statutory requirements and current legislation.
• Full driving licence.
