Building Services Technician – Commercial Electrician

About the role

We are looking for a Building Services Technician (Commercial Electrician) to support the maintenance and safe operation of our Severnside site. This hands‑on position is ideal for a qualified electrician who also has experience in general building and facilities maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance and repairs across the site, including lighting, sockets and basic fault finding.
• Support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks.
• Maintain and monitor site equipment such as boilers, compressors and cooling systems.
• Perform general building maintenance, including basic plumbing, carpentry and fabric repairs.
• Assist with site compliance, including permit‑to‑work, contractor control and Legionella management.
• Uphold high standards of safety, water hygiene and overall building condition.

Required profile

• Qualified electrician with relevant electrical certification.
• Proven experience in building or facilities maintenance.
• Ability to work safely in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and compliance requirements.
