Building Surveyor – Hybrid – Exeter

About the role

We are seeking a Building Surveyor to join a large multidisciplinary consultancy in Exeter. The role offers hybrid working, APC support and a clear progression path within a supportive, non‑corporate environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support and manage projects from feasibility through to completion.
• Prepare specifications, tenders and project documentation.
• Assist with planning and building control applications.
• Conduct site visits, inspections and carry out contract administration duties.
• Work on a variety of maintenance and refurbishment projects for public and private sector clients.

Required profile

• Experience in building surveying or related construction project work.
• Good all‑round technical knowledge and eagerness to progress toward chartership.
• Relevant surveying or construction degree.
• Ability to commute to Exeter and work across Devon and Somerset.

Required skills

• Basic AutoCAD and technical drawing proficiency.
